training.dental is an online training portal for dental practices. We make training something that fits into a practice's day: on demand rather than scheduled, in sections rather than in one sitting, and for the whole team rather than the dentist alone.

why we exist
training.dental grew out of three decades of practice experience — and out of the question why good training has to be this complicated.
Martina Hondong-Kulik advises dental practices as a trained dental administrator, focusing on quality management, hygiene and practice organisation. From QM documentation through team workflows to preparing for inspections and audits. She knows both sides: the working day inside a practice and the demands placed on it from outside. Her observation was always the same — the knowledge exists, it is just rarely where it is needed.
Out of evening conversations about that came the idea of making this advisory practice permanently available: training that helps in daily work and prepares for audits — without travel time, without closing the practice, without losing weekends.
Not a filmed lecture
Every course is built as video sections that stand on their own. Not the recording of a three-hour talk, but material you can stop exactly where it gets specific for your own practice.
What we don't promise
We may only state CME credits for courses we have had cleared by the ZFU, Germany's central authority for distance learning. That procedure takes time, so we are starting with courses that carry none.
So both will exist: courses with stated CME credits and courses without. Whether a course carries credits is shown on the course itself. A certificate of attendance you receive either way.
We would rather you know in advance what you are getting.
Data protection isn't an appendix
You work with patient data; we work with yours. The platform processes all data encrypted and in line with the GDPR. What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy — not in the small print.
